As a designer with a track record of over 20 years, I specialize in creating products, vehicles, and 3D-printed concepts.
My first assignment in 2003 involved implementing Rapid Prototyping at a client’s R&D department.
Since 2012, ABID has been utilizing in-house 3D printers. We employ them to produce products at a 1:1 scale or mockups (such as our vehicle designs) to scale.
With this technology at our disposal, we can assist you more quickly and accurately in crafting designs that not only exude balance but also feel harmonious!
By seeing a product in “real life,” you can provide much more accurate feedback, thereby elevating our process and quality even further.

For over a decade, ABID has been inspiring people. As a company, ABID is involved in various projects aimed at sharing knowledge about design and engineering. These include the Techno Challenge by Tata Steel and 3D printing & car design projects at various universities and colleges.
As a guest lecturer, Alexander has delivered lectures at the Maastricht Academy of Fine Arts (Academie Beeldende Kunsten Maastricht), University of Heerlen – Engineering department, and The Hague University of Applied Sciences, in the field of Industrial Product Design (IPO).
His topics cover creativity, the design process, the 3D printing process, and automotive design.
